Rural Doctors Need Added Skills
Family physicians who desire to practice in rural communities need additional skills in mental and environmental health care and sports medicine.
Our health care environment provides unique opportunities to think beyond our classrooms, clinics, laboratories and offices. Our mission to improve and promote health allows us to focus on education, quality health care, accessibility to care and research. Accomplishing the priorities set forth in this Capital Campaign will extend beyond our campus footprint and forever change the future of The University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences.

A Mission for Improved Health Care
Furthering the mission of the College of Community Health Sciences will require collaboration, passion and commitment. We need ambassadors of our vision to accomplish this opportunity for advancement in medicine and learning. The timing and success of The Rising Tide is vital to the future of medicine, and our college will be forever impacted through these efforts.
Our doctors, educators and students are at the forefront of great changes. We are excited to set forth a $3 million effort for the College of Community Health Sciences. This level of philanthropy will provide the necessary footprint to serve our community and our state. Accomplishing this goal will provide transformational impact to health care across our state, region and beyond.
