Letter From The Dean

We Are The Honors.

Honors students come from different places and study many disciplines, but they all share a vision to effect positive change in the world. It is our responsibility and our privilege to provide extraordinary educational experiences to help them develop as problem-solvers and leaders.

We seek to ensure that all Honors students can participate fully in those critical experiences by affording each student the opportunity to get involved in community-engaged learning, to expand their global perspective through study abroad or to discover new ideas through research. And each Honors student should feel welcomed, included and supported as they pursue their goals.

In the Honors College, we are creating a culture not only of giving but of giving back. Our students embrace this mission, and our priority is to support them and the programs, faculty and staff equipping them to reach their highest potential. As I can attest, it takes just a few moments of talking with an Honors student to be convinced that investing in their future is investing in a better future for us all.
